On the occasion of the International Children’s Day, the volunteers of the Believe Youth group organised the online session for their little friends from the Poti Orphanage.
During the session, they talked about the background history of June 1st and exchanged their views about the importance of protection of children’s rights.
Marika Nadaria, co-founder of the Believe Foundation joined the session, she dialed in from Copenhagen and congratulated them on the Children’s International Day. She also offered  a virtual tour of the colourful streets of Nyhavn in Copenhagen and the home of Danish well known author, Hans Christian Andersen who is best known for writing children’s stories.The engagement during the session was both interesting and fun.

After a virtual tour,   the children were invited to participate in a cheerful quiz prepared by the volunteers of the Believe Youth.

The Believe Foundation has organised a charity campaign in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The project involved people with special needs, socially vulnerable large families and elderly living in Poti. It also included the beneficiaries of the Poti Deaf Union. 

"We are glad that the Believe Foundation continues its support this year as well. Beneficiaries of the Poti Deaf Union received  food, masks and hand sanitizers due to the current COVID-19 situation, . We thank the members of the Believe Foundation and the volunteers for their help,” said Zviad Janelidze, a representative of the Poti Deaf Union.

Since 2019, the Believe's strategy has been linked to the UN Sustainable development goals and one of the main objectives of the Believe Foundation  is to fight against poverty and hunger. Within the framework of this project, the Foundation has helped 75 families (230 people) during the months of April - May 2020.

The Believe foundation congratulated Mother's Day to the members of the Parents Club. 

Together with members of the youth group, Believe’s team supported children with disabilities to make mothers happy on March 3. They’ve delivered  sweets, flowers and shared heartfelt messages for this occasion. 

‘’With this campaign we reminded mothers of how special and strong they are and we, as Believe volunteers, were happy to share the joy and positive experience’’ said one of the members of the Believe Youth. About the Parents Club

Believe Foundation has established the  Parents' Club in 2018. It unites the parents of  Children with Disabilities living in Poti. The goal of the club is to support the protection and promotion of rights of persons with various disabilities and support their social integration through advocacy, planning and implementing various integrated projects and activities.

The yearly Believe Foundation Charity Gala Dinner will once again put the focus on reducing poverty and inequalities, support for education and creating an inclusive environment for those less fortunate. The non-profit organization is looking for sponsors to join this year’s event to raise more funds to support the local communities. 


With the continuous support of donors and devoted volunteers the Believe team raises funds to organize charitable and educational programs to improve the lives of beneficiaries throughout the year in western Georgia. In Georgia, every fifth child (21.7%) lives under the general poverty line
 as stated in UNICEF’s research on “The well-being of children and their families in Georgia” and Believe wants to contribute to change this. 


Among the loyal donors and permanent guests of the Charity Gala Dinner are private sector representatives such as global transportation companies, logistic and forwarding agencies, financial institutions, banks and insurance companies, legal service providers, investment associations, international hotels, healthcare centers, Georgian diaspora, the diplomatic corps, Chambers of Commerce, and philanthropic individuals.


The Believe Foundation Charity Gala Dinner will take place at 6:00 PM on December 7 at the Biltmore Tbilisi Hotel. The event will feature a spectacular musical performance by well – known Georgian musician and composer Dato Evgenidze with Band & Friends.


Guests will be invited to join for dinner, charity auction, raffle tickets, music & dancing. Together with the sponsors, Believe will participate on the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Reduced Inequalities.


The event is supported by UN Global Compact Network Georgia.

The Parents Club launched in Poti

In May 2018, Believe Foundation established the Parents Club of the children with special needs living in Poti. Since then, the organisation has been hosting various trainings, informational meetings and integrated activities tailored to the needs of parents. 

The goal of the club is to empower parents and provide an opportunity to gain new knowledge and experience as well as promote inclusive education in Poti. 

Speakers selected by the team of Believe, constantly try to share their experiences and motivate club members to ensure better future of their children.

“I would gladly devote more time to these types of meetings. The training was really impressive and interesting. I will definitely use the knowledge I gained for my child’s better future” - said Inga Gadua, member of the Parents Club. 

The Parents Club was established by the financial support of CRYSTAL JSC MFO.

“Youth for social initiative” is an educational project aiming to raise awareness on social issues among youth by gaining new experiences and implementing various activities in Poti. 

The project involved 20 youngsters and 5 mentors from various schools and business organisatons. The participants worked to create social projects for two months. Within the framework of the contest, 3 winners were announced. Two teams won prizes and got financial support to implement their project. One of the projects was funded by  Gigi Katsaridze a jury member.

“Our goal was to engage youngsters and implement this project together. The participants had to study the case deeply and look at it in a local context. I believe youth can bring positive changes in the community and improve the lives of people around through engaging in similar projects.” said Nino Mirtskhulava, one of the project mentors.
