The Believe Foundation provides health and recreational therapies, as well as medical examinations and preventive health care.

Our goal is to support and seek improvement in medical treatments for disabled and socially vulnerable, to advocate for public understanding, and to increase awareness of particular disabilities and diseases.

The foundation strives on a regular basis to advocate for public understanding and to increase awareness of particular disabilities and diseases.

These are the services Believe provided:

Speech and Language Therapy Classes

The classes include articulation therapy, breathing and blowing exercises, oral motor functioning, and language exercises for children with special needs at Poti Day Care Center. The project started in 2015 and is still ongoing, it includes 10 beneficiaries.

Psychotherapist Service

The psychotherapist service contributes to the development of the positive emotional state of the children. It also helps children to strengthen faith in their own abilities and enhance their self-esteem.

The service has been funded for 10 children with disabilities at Poti Day Care Center for the period of 11 months since February 2016. The psychotherapist works with art-therapy, which includes painting, sand play, and fairytale therapy.

New Wheelchairs for Children

The urgent need for wheelchairs was defined by the city’s social service. The Believe Foundation donated six custom-made wheelchairs to children and their families in Poti.

Treatment - Rehabilitation Course at Lugela Resort

Poti Day Care Center - Coalition for Social Reforms had a 10 day treatment and rehabilitation course at Lugela resort for children with special needs. The Believe Foundation invited children together with their parents to Lugela Resort and sponsored all related costs of the treatment.

Child and Adolescent Health Rehabilitation Treatment

The Believe Foundation supports children and adolescents with special needs who are diagnosed with a serious illness. So far, we have funded the treatment, rehabilitation and surgery for 6 beneficiaries with physical and mental disabilities living in Poti.
